I am looking to get TV service without needing a monthly plan service.  I have been paying about $50.00 a month for basic TV service and would like to very much avoid paying for this service.  I will do this even if it mean I have to watch TV on my personal computer or laptop.  Are there any alternatives available?

Another option would be to download and purchase software that will allow you to watch TV on your PC without the need for a monthly TV contract.  You only need to pay for the software once, these Internet TV services can offer literally thousands of channels from all over the world.
